The crashed French aircraft was discovered by an 816 Sqd Tracker in 1974.The owner(Mr Martinet)in foreground was flown to the island to retrieve the wreck, however it was decided to only salvage the engine. The remains of the a/c were destroyed by 817 Sqdn. Photo via FAA Museum.
