RAAF Serial c/n Type Aircraft History
TAIC #11 ? A6M5  Previously Operated by the Japanese.
Found at Clarke Field and rebuilt by the TAIC unit.
Referred to as TAIC #11, the real id is unknown to us.
The aircraft was loaned to 457 Sqn to be used for evaluation against our aircraft and flown to Singapore for testing by ATIU-SEA.
It's ultimate fate is unknown, but some accounts claim that it crashed into Singapore harbour killing its Australian pilot.
